Almost 300 thousand people (298.910) and R$2,5 billion in financial transactions. These are the numbers for the 32nd edition of the Show Rural Coopavel, officially closed this Friday afternoon, the 7th, in Cascavel, in the west of Paraná. The balance was presented at a press conference by the president of Coopavel, Dilvo Grolli, who was accompanied by vice-president Jeomar Trivilin, the event's general coordinator Rogério Rizzardi and collaborators.
The numbers are important, they prove the strength and strength of agribusiness, but the determinant of the Rural Show is the dissemination of technology and what it represents to the daily life of the farmer and the most different segments of the agribusiness chain, said Dilvo, announcing the date of the 33rd edition: February 1st to 5th, 2021. The president of Coopavel took a soybean plant to the conference, whose productivity already reaches 75 bags per hectare. “But here at the fair we already have varieties with even better rates.” In 32 years of the Coopavel Rural Show, soy and corn productivity in the region grew 300%.
The president also highlighted another new aspect, which is the interest of farmers' children in rural business. “Technology contributes to this, and proves to be indispensable for higher productions at lower costs.” Vice-president Jeomar Trivilin highlighted that the event achieved all its goals and that it is not just for Coopavel, it is for the entire community. “These good results reflect the sum of many forces and the challenge is to be better every year”, added and thanked general coordinator Rogério Rizzardi.
