The 31st Coopavel Rural Show received an audience of 288.802 visitors from Monday to Friday, February 4th to 8th, in Cascavel, in the west of Paraná. Financial transactions reached R$2,2 billion. The numbers are a record for a single edition of the fair, which brought together 520 exhibitors. The 32nd event already has a date to take place, it will be from February 3rd to 7th, 2020.
The president of Coopavel, Dilvo Grolli, says that the numbers represent the good moment in Brazil, of regaining confidence in the government and in the future of the country. “We are very happy and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event possible”, said Dilvo alongside the Minister of Agriculture, Tereza Cristina, the vice-president of Coopavel, Jeomar Trivilin, the general coordinator of the Coopavel Rural Show, Rogério Rizzardi, the IT coordinator Rogério Aver and the publicist Samuel Grolli, who alongside José Rodrigues from Costa Neto were in charge of the Rural Digital Show.
The Digital Rural Show was the big sensation of the 31st edition, said Dilvo, informing that the challenge for 2020 will be to make the next one an even bigger and better event. “It has unique characteristics in the world and represents a fantastic revolution, which takes production and agribusiness to a new level”, highlighted the president of Coopavel. The audience this Friday was 40.602 visitors, also a new historical record for the fair's closing day.
