Expointer Special: JCB do Brasil reinforces agro presence at the 42nd Expointer

JCB do Brasil is present for the fourth consecutive time at Expointer, one of the main Brazilian agribusiness fairs, which is in its 42nd edition. This year, the event intends to generate R$2,4 billion in business. The exhibition runs until September 1st, in Esteio, in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. 
  
The company of British origin is participating in the event together with Motormac, JCB Distributor in Rio Grande do Sul, which will present at its stand the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders, JCB JS220LC excavator, Loadall JCB 540-170, JCB 190 mini loader and the mini excavator 55Z-I. 
  
“This is a very important event, and we expect growth. The agro sector is in a good moment, with record harvests, and that is why there is a large investment planned”, stated JCB regional sales manager, Ricardo Nery. “And this does not just involve the rural producer, but the entire chain, such as grain processing plants, pesticide seed industries. So it’s certainly a great opportunity.” 
  
Manager of the JCB divisions at Motormac, José Honorato Santos de Moraes highlighted that the stand will display JCB's main equipment. “We selected vehicles in all categories, backhoes, telescope manipulators, loaders and also compact equipment, because currently 99% of the fair's financial turnover is related to the machinery sector, and in the Rio Grande do Sul market, 20% of construction are used in agribusiness, whether in warehouses and silos, in grain handling, but also in the construction and maintenance of roads and dams”. 
  
Furthermore, he also stated that the construction sector will also be highlighted at the stand. “As it is located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, it is quite common for construction companies and other branches of industry to be present, such as sand mining groups, and they visit us because they know about the special prices on these occasions,” he said.
