Um application de fleet management agricultural. This is the proposal that LS Tractor is presenting for the first time at Expodireto Cotrijal, to producers who visit the fair. When starting the day's work on the farm, the LS Tech app you will receive work orders for that day, forwarded by the property manager wherever he is, directly to a tablet, eliminating the old way of writing notes on paper and everything having to be changed or adjusted by the operator.

“To operate the machine (tractor or harvester) the operator will need a digital key (QR Code) to activate the system that will recognize the person’s data and communicate with the base”, explains the marketing and product manager from LS Tractor, Astor Kilpp. With the new resource, managing mechanization on properties becomes easier, as this system allows installation and use on a common tablet or even a smartphone instead of the monitors normally used on machines and which have a higher cost.

According to the manager, the entire agricultural operation carried out can be monitored through this app and is cross-referenced with the Equipment telemetry, which will inform all the actions that the operator is carrying out during the work day. And not only in terms of activity, but also equipment operation, work speed, machine downtime, temperatures, etc. “After that service order is executed, all the information is transmitted to the base. If there is no signal, it is stored and when connected, it is sent”, he highlights.

Advantage of APP

The property manager has 100% control of what is happening, what has been accomplished and what is still open. The operator will define the best way to use the equipment for the specific activity to be carried out. The application makes operational processes more interactive. It is a tool for the most diverse agricultural applications, in fruit growing, coffee or even the grain sector. “The App interacts with the telemetry system, receiving all data and recording it, it also issues warnings (alerts) such as, for example, refueling the tractor”, reveals Kilpp.

Telemetry

Telemetry is a technology that has arrived to provide the property manager with a range of information regarding the operation of agricultural machinery and equipment in use. With it it is possible to know how many hours the tractor worked in a day, what the productivity was, the fuel consumption and whether it is time to do some preventive maintenance. This information is transmitted via GPRS signal, directly to the rural property office, where the data will be processed and reports issued.
