Expodireto Special: Harvesters at MDA are Massey Ferguson's bets for the 19th Expodireto Cotrijal

 Massey Ferguson is present at Expodireto Cotrijal, from March 5th to 9th, in Não-Me-Toque (RS), with the MF 4690 and MF 5690 hybrid harvesters, which were recently included in the Mais Alimentos Program (MDA), a financing from the Federal Government. The initiative is part of the brand's strategy of expanding the portfolio of products available at MDA, which previously included several models of tractors.

“The brand bets and invests in modern, efficient and economical machines, as producers need to work with increasingly shorter cultivation windows. That's why we expanded the product portfolio in the Mais Alimentos Program to help rural entrepreneurs looking to renew their fleet for the next harvest through the Federal Government's financing system”, says Fabrício Muller, marketing manager for the harvesters product at AGCO, holder from the Massey Ferguson brand.

The MF 4690 harvester, class 4 and ideal for family farming, has a hybrid processing concept with axial separation by two rotors, increasing productivity and efficiency in the field. Due to the hybrid system, exclusive to Massey Ferguson, the MF 4690 unifies the best of conventional threshing with the best of axial separation, allowing the machine to work with a low loss rate even in extreme conditions, such as in crops with a high volume of straw, crops with high grain productivity or high humidity in the products. This type of processing allows for a greater separation capacity through centrifugal action than any other system, as it maximizes the straw flow around the double rotors.

With 200 hp of power, the model is equipped with an AGCO Power electronic engine (iEGR system). Through this technology, it is possible to fully monitor the functions of the engine integrated into the machine, in addition to allowing the equipment to remain in the field for longer, ensuring low operating costs and significantly reducing harvesting costs.

The equipment works with up to 20 feet of platform, providing a high level of production (especially rice, soybeans and corn). With a discharge rate of 86 l/s – 62% higher –, the highest in its category, and a grain tank with 10% greater storage capacity (5.500 liters), the MF 4690 has more time available for harvesting. The cab was designed to maximize comfort and operational ease, making work more productive.

The MF 5690 harvester, class 4, already renowned by the public in Rio Grande do Sul, now arrives at Expodireto Cotrijal included in the MDA, expanding the brand's portfolio, the most complete and modern in the financing line. Equipped with a 7.4-liter AGCO Power turbo intercooled six-cylinder engine, it is capable of delivering up to 225 hp.

The MF 5690 brings together the best characteristics of conventional systems (robustness with low energy consumption) and axial systems (reduced harvest losses and greater operational capacity) in just a single concept, which is the processing hybrid.

The harvester was developed to provide greater comfort and operational efficiency and can be equipped with the Auto-Guide autopilot, AgCommand telemetry system with the Fieldstar II productivity monitor and platforms of up to 23 feet. It has a capacity of 5.500 liters, a discharge rate of 86 l/s and high processing capacity with more than 14m² of track and separation.

The MF 6690 hybrid harvester (265 hp) has an AGCO Power electronic engine with the iEGR system. The machine offers greater yield with lower fuel consumption, increased productivity, cleaner and whole grains in the tank and fewer stops for maintenance. The robust, high-inertia track system has the capacity to operate in any condition, reducing machine effort and ensuring fuel savings of up to 25% per ton harvested. The model is the only one from the brand with a 25-foot draper platform available.

The axial model MF 9695, in class 6, is equipped with an 8.4-liter AGCO Power turbo intercooled six-cylinder engine, capable of delivering up to 390 hp. Field tests showed that, under ideal conditions of use, the MF 9695 reduces fuel consumption by up to 30% compared to the previous model.

The MF 9895 axial harvester has a 9,8-liter AGCO Power seven-cylinder engine, which can reach 500 hp. It has the highest grain unloading rate on the market (150 liters per second) and a tank with a storage capacity of 12.334 liters. The feed cylinder drive system is responsible for the high performance of the equipment, guaranteeing the quality of the grains and expanding the range of crops and applications.

The MF 9695 and MF 9895 have the modern V-Cool cooling system, exclusive to the brand, which drastically reduces the need for cleaning the radiators and offers high cooling capacity and, consequently, longer engine life. In addition to reducing consumption, the harvesters have a Trident™ processing system, consisting of a 3,56 m long rotor, promoting more threshing and separation, while increasing grain quality.
