Between March 6th and 10th, Syngenta presents its solutions and services to the public visiting Expodireto, an agricultural fair held by Cotrijal, in Não MeToque, in Rio Grande do Sul (RS). The expectation is that more than 210 thousand people, including researchers and professionals representing the various segments of agribusiness, will visit the event.
The highlight of the Syngenta exhibition will be the Elatus fungicide which provides superior results in terms of productivity protection and control of Asian soybean rust, in addition to offering up to 21 days of residual. The monitoring of more than 200 demonstration areas in the last harvest - called “Reference Areas” in a monitoring project led by Syngenta and more than 80 renowned Brazilian researchers and consultants - identified that the areas treated with Elatus registered an average increase of 3,3 additional soybean bags per hectare. Using the augmented reality feature, third-dimensional panel and also LED, the public will be able to check all the results delivered by Elatus when it comes to protecting productivity.
Visitors to the Syngenta stand will also be invited to learn, through a video, the main challenges faced by Brazilian farmers. Afterwards, they will be taken to the demonstration fields, where they will be able to understand more about Syngenta technologies, focused on productivity. At the end of the circuit, inside an Arena with a 120º projection, successful experiences of producers who have reached high production ceilings using the company's Integrated Solutions will be presented.

Four content stations, shaped like houses with transparent glass walls, filled with information, will feature testimonials and videos about the effectiveness and differentiating characteristics of the industrial seed treatment Fortenza Duo, the insecticide Engeo Pleno, the fungicide Elatus and also biotechnology Agrisure Viptera for corn, among other technologies in the Syngenta portfolio
House of the Environment
Syngenta will also present the pillars and commitments that constitute its Sustainable Agriculture Plan (The Good Growth Plan) in the space called Casa do Meio Ambiente, open to the entire Expodireto public. With measurable and audited goals to be met by 2020, the plan is divided into three main pillars: increased productivity; preservation of biodiversity and the environment; and care for rural workers.
