Expodireto Special: Jacto presents Multicontrol system for small producers
System brings together in a single display several solutions such as flow control, light bar and automatic section control
The Enlist system was one of the main highlights presented by Corteva at Expodireto, in Não-Me-Toque, in Rio Grande do Sul. Expected to arrive on a commercial scale in Brazil in the 2021/22 harvest, biotechnology is an important tool to assist in the pest and weed management.
With an individual stand, specially developed to showcase biotechnology, Corteva took to the fair an interactive screen. Through it, new products are presented, which are now available to farmers: the herbicides Enlist Colex-D (2,4-D choline salt) and EnlistDuo Colex-D (ready mix of 2,4-D choline salt + glyphosate dimethylamine salt ), which controls broad-leaved weeds, which are not commonly controlled by glyphosate. Enlist is the evolution in weed control, as it allows the use of 2,4-D herbicides, glyphosate and ammonium glufosinate in soybean and corn crops, enabling the management of the main weeds within both crops. Enlist corn, in addition to the three herbicides mentioned, is also tolerant to the herbicide haloxyfop.
In addition to the actions at the Corteva stand, Enlist has an exclusive space at Expodireto Cotrijal. Visitors have access to an LED panel that presents in detail what the system is, in addition to its purpose of contributing to crop productivity. Participants will also learn about the Enlist herbicide platform through testimonials from farmers about Colex-D technology and the world of genetics with testimonials from genetic improvement companies that are developing new high-yield Enlist soybean varieties.
Enlist technology will be available in its own brands Brevant Sementes, Pioneer and Cordius and in licensed brands (Brasmax, Don Mario, Nidera, TMG, HO Genética and Syngenta).
