Agrishow Special: Valtra presents planters with Precision Planting smart dosers

Valtra brings to the public at Agrishow 2018 the Frontier CFS and HiTech planters with system Precision Planting, intelligent dosing technology that adds greater performance in seed distribution. The agricultural fair will be held between April 30th and May 4th, in Ribeirão Preto (SP).

Precision Planting seed meterers deliver over 99% singulation, ensuring accurate seed population. This means that the seeds are deposited in the soil at regular intervals, without failures or double application, increasing planting productivity.

The intelligent dosing system can be added to Valtra planters from the Frontier CFS and HiTech lines, both on display at Agrishow 2018. Both can also be equipped with the hydraulic transmission system that allows the application of fertilizer and seed in Variable Rate, technology which allows you to program the distribution of seeds and fertilizers with a simple touch on the control screen, from inside the cabin, according to a recommendation map.

The Frontier CFS has the largest central box on the market, with 1.450 liters of capacity, or one big bag whole. The model also has fewer lubrication points on the planting line than the market average, requiring less time for maintenance and, consequently, leaving the equipment more time available for its function, planting.

“Frontier CFS models feature pneumatic dosers, which work in conjunction with the pantographic system to ensure regular and precise application even on uneven soils, increasing planting efficiency”, says Rafael Antonio Costa, Sprayers and Implements Marketing Manager AGCO South America.

This year, the HiTech line gained a 20% increase in the capacity of suspended seed reservoirs, ensuring greater working autonomy and availability of the machine in the field.

“Rural producers can also connect our planter to Fuse Technologies tools, which offers solutions for precision agriculture, with integration of property and machines, in addition to optimizing resources and greater control of the operation, maximizing planting efficiency”, says Costa.

The Valtra line of implements also includes seeders in Multiple versions (L and M Series), for summer and winter crops, the Fertilizer BDF 1300 fertilizer, with a capacity of 1.300 liters, and the VL Series front planers, with load capacities from 1.200 kg to 1.800 kg.
