Valtra launches the BH 184 model, the seventh model in the BH Generation 4 Line. The new model is equipped with a 180 hp four-cylinder engine, exclusive to the Brazilian market. The machine will be presented to the public at Agrishow, an agricultural fair that takes place in Ribeirão Preto (SP) from April 30th to May 4th.
“Valtra is the first brand to offer a tractor in the 180 hp segment equipped with four cylinders in Brazil. This difference guarantees greater fuel economy and lower maintenance costs, which in turn increases the rural producer's income”, says Winston Quintas, tractor marketing supervisor at Valtra. “The mechanical transmission Heavy Duty This is another operational advantage of this heavy-duty line, which is recommended for sugarcane operations, such as transshipment transportation, for example.”
The new model is part of the BH Generation 4 Line, which was completely renewed in 2017 and now offers seven power range options. In addition to the new BH184, rural producers can opt for the BH144 (145 hp), BH154 (159 hp), BH174 (179 hp), BH194 (195 hp), BH214 (210 hp) and BH224 (220 hp) tractors.
The entry-level tractors in Valtra's BH Line, models BH144 and BH154, will be presented with four cylinders, an innovation in the category that reduces fuel consumption and maintenance costs. Highlight for the BH154, the first tractor with a 4-cylinder engine with 159 hp in Brazil.
Another model worth highlighting is the BH194, evolution of the old BH180, sales leader in the segment for over a decade among machines from 130 to 200 hp. Now updated, the fourth generation Valtra tractor delivers more technology to the producer in this fourth generation.
The BH224 is the largest tractor with mechanical transmission in the segment, with 220 hp, serving all crops, but mainly livestock and rice producers, who require workforce in the field without losing the simplicity and ease of maintenance, characteristic of the BH Line.
The BH family features the same triple award-winning design as the Finnish A, N and T Series.
T Series, the only one with a CVT transmission produced in the country
Rural producers who visit the Valtra stand at Agrishow will also be able to check out the T CVT series, which adds technology and robustness with the CVT gearbox (continuously variable transmission, in English). In the 2017 edition of the fair, the T 250 CVT model, with 250 hp, was elected Tractor of the Year, in addition to being awarded as the best machine over 200 hp.
The complete family has four models: T195 CVT (195 hp), T210 CVT (210 hp), T230 CVT (230 hp) and T250 CVT (250 hp). “With a lifting capacity of up to 9.600 kg and a front hydraulic system with a capacity of 4.000 kg, the tractors can work in combined operations, increasing availability and productivity in the field”, says Winston Quintas.
The heavy-duty machine model has the best relationship between power and transmission, with maximized performance for long days in the field. The CVT transmission offers an unlimited number of speeds, is easy to operate and is free from operational failures.
Valtra is the only brand to manufacture tractors with CVT transmission in Brazil, making it possible to purchase them with financing based on resources from Finame, a credit line from BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) aimed at acquiring new manufacturing machines and equipment. national.
The T CVT series models have a pump with a hydraulic flow of 190 l/min, up to 4 electronic valves and a 4-speed TDP. Another new feature is the suspension on the front axle. With greater front axle traction efficiency, the slip rate is reduced, increasing operational performance.
The T family has a design that won three international awards: Design 2016 (Italy), Red Dot Design 2016 (Germany) and Good Design™ 2016 (USA and Europe). In 2015, the T series also received the title of Machine of the Year at the Sima Show, in the 182 to 284 hp category.
A4 series
“The A4 Series reaches rural producers with the system HiShift, which allows the operator to change gears by simply pressing a button on the gear lever, without the need to use the clutch pedal, providing greater smoothness in coupling and ease of operation”, says Quintas.
The Generation 4 Series A, or A4, offers power from 115 to 135 hp and PowerShutlle electro-hydraulic reverser, with 12 forward and 12 reverse speeds. In February, the A4 Series was elected Machine of the Year by a commission of independent journalists at the Sima Show 2017, an agricultural fair held in Paris (France) and considered the largest in the world.
Rural producers will be able to choose between three models A114 (115 hp), A124 (125 hp) and A134 (135 hp), all with cab and platform options. The launch cabin offers greater visibility to the producer, in addition to low noise levels, and ergonomics from the pedals to the tractor controls, enabling greater operational comfort for long journeys in the field.
A4 HiTech Series
For the medium power segment, Valtra offers farmers tractor options with PowerShift automatic transmission. The A114 HiTech (115 hp), A124 HiTech (125 hp) and A134 HiTech (135 hp) models, which are part of the A4 HiTech Series, are factory equipped with the HiTech4 PowerShift four-speed transmission in four groups, with 16 speeds. forward and 16 reverse speeds with PowerShuttle electro-hydraulic reverser.
The automatic models also have a hydraulic system with a variable flow pump of up to 105 l/min, a highlight in the segment. Another new feature that brings greater versatility to the machines is the reducer “Super Creeper”, which allows tractors to be operated at a minimum speed of 0,15 km/h.
HiTech models are prepared to receive Fuse Technologies features, such as the Auto-Guide® 3000 autopilot and telemetry control through AgCommand™.
New option for family farming
Valtra will also bring to rural producers in Rio Grande do Sul the new A750E tractor, an entry-level model with 78 hp, with power take-off via mechanical drive and lifting capacity of 1.719 kgf. The machine is part of the Series A Generation 2, which now offers a new option in the light line, totaling six models from 50 hp to 90 hp.
The customized tractor is a great alternative for family farming and small properties, and comes standard with an 8+4 transmission, with speed scaling. Rural producers can still opt for 12+8 transmission with reducer.
