Agrishow Special: Marispan wins the Gerdau Best of the Earth Award, at Agrishow

With a series of differences that aim to improve the performance and safety of small rural producers, the Marispan M85 Loading Shovel was crowned champion of the Family Farming division of the Gerdau Melhores da Terra Award, at Agrishow. The Award was presented to representatives of Marispan, a company that manufactures agricultural implements, on the morning of Tuesday, the 26th, in the Finance Auditorium, where the fair takes place.

Launched less than a year ago, the implement impressed the award judges due to its versatility and ease of carrying out operations. "This loader can be used in various operations such as scooping, leveling planer, front winch, loading silage, among many others. Furthermore, it is easy to couple and uncouple, facilitating operations in the field", reveals the Administrative Director and Marispan Industrialist, Paulo Nascimento.

This is the second time that the company, based in Batatais-SP, has won the Award at Agrishow. "In 2012 we also won this Award with another line of products we manufacture, the coffee fertilizer machine. We were very confident this time and felt honored with the judges' choice", adds Nascimento.

The Judging Committee for the Gerdau Melhores da Terra Award is made up of representatives from universities, research centers, government bodies and entities related to the agribusiness sector. This year, the award, which seeks to encourage sustainable development, innovation and excellence in agribusiness, reached its 33rd edition.

For the director, the M85 Wheel Loader opens up new market perspectives, due to the different functions it can perform in agriculture, livestock and forestry, and the award will help in this process. "The trend is for growth, as the range of business opportunities that we can realize with this product is much greater", he concludes.
