At the 2019 edition of Agrishow, John Deere presented the beginning of a new era of precision agriculture. With 17 toreleases, the company offered an experience for its customers, with options for packaged machines, services, parts and solutions for all producer profiles. As a result, the The company's business grew by around 20% compared to last year's fair.

Automation was John Deere's main focus for the event. An example of this is the S700 harvester, the first fully automated harvester produced in Brazil, which self-regulates every three minutes, and the DB ExactEmerge planter, capable of planting at twice the speed (16 km/h) and twice the precision.

This intelligence was only possible thanks to the Rural Connectivity, a John Deere initiative to bring internet to the countryside, launched at the last Agrishow and sold from this edition onwards. Today, 5 million hectares are already connected in Brazil, which means that farmers are now using the full technological potential of the products.

Another notable service was the Operation center, an online and open data management platform, which already has the first connected software, developed by the company's strategic partners. This entire scenario has transformed the field into a collaborative ecosystem for the development of the country.

"This is John Deere's vision for the future of agriculture: the most efficient connection between people, machines, intelligence and technology. Therefore, we encourage producers to adopt technology to be prepared to face the challenges of today and tomorrow", says Rodrigo Bonato, Sales Director at John Deere Brazil. "Real agriculture 4.0 is digital and collaborative and, certainly, John Deere customers are already living this new era", he concludes.
