AGRISHOW SPECIAL: Jacto launches Uniport 5030 NPK fertilizer machine during Agrishow 2017

Jacto launches the Uniport 2017 NPK fertilizer machine at Agrishow 1, which takes place from the 5st to the 5030th of May in Ribeirão Preto/SP. The machine is a self-propelled machine with a 5.000 kg tank capacity and an application range of up to 50 meters.

“It is a new generation of fertilizer on the market that has technologies developed by Jacto, which enable greater precision in dosing and uniformity in the application of fertilizers, in addition to enabling the application of powdered products” explains Paulo Guirao, product manager for the Sprayers line. The main technological differences of the Uniport 5030 NPK fertilizer machine are:

PrecisionWay System: It is Jacto technology to control the dosage, the point of fall of the fertilizer on the discs and the shape of the blades, allowing the inputs to be distributed in the right dose, with quality and uniformity throughout the entire application range. The maximum dosage error achieved is up to 2% and the application range is regulated through an automatic system that varies the fertilizer drop point on the distribution discs. The discs and blades with exclusive Jacto design offer greater distribution uniformity across the entire application range.

SmartSet: SmartSet is a website that contains all the information necessary to help adjust the application range. Simple and reliable, it is a practical tool that speeds up the machine calibration time for the operator, allowing a higher quality application every time. It's just 4 easy steps to get the application range settings.

Border control: Border control is a very important function that helps reduce application errors in border operations, avoiding applying fertilizer to unwanted areas such as carriers and reserve areas. This function has 3 available settings, concentrating the distribution profile towards the edge, allowing for greater application quality, fertilizer savings and environmental protection.

Automatic section control: This control allows segmentation of the application range into up to 12 sections, controlled automatically. This is an innovative system that brings an important reduction in application costs to the fertilization operation, by closing and opening the different sections, minimizing overlaps at the entrances and exits of the border. The reduction in fertilizer consumption can be up to 15% with this technology. Automatic section control is optional and will be available on machines manufactured from 2018 onwards, and can be installed on machines produced in 2017 if customers wish to purchase.

Application versatility: Ability to apply powder products just by changing the distribution disc sets. The Uniport 5030 NPK can count on precision agriculture technologies from the OTMIS line – Jacto's brand for AP. The OTMIS 1200 set offers a light bar, which indicates to the operator the ideal direction to follow in the crop, records application maps and measures areas. The autopilot automatically directs the machine based on the GPS signal, avoiding overlap. Variable rate application allows the dosage to be changed automatically based on a pre-established dose prescription map. RTX/RTK signal corrections increase accuracy by reducing standalone signal errors.
