The use of some digital agriculture tools, such as those aimed at automation and agricultural logistics, already allows, in some cases, a reduction of up to 25% in the fuel consumption of machines used in the field. The assessment was made by Emerson Crepaldi, director of international business at Solinftec, during a talk at the Knowledge Arena at Agrishow 2019 – 26th International Agricultural Technology in Action Fair.

The executive highlighted the importance and technical quality of Brazilian producers in interpreting the data obtained in the management of people and machines and how this specialization influences the development of new technologies in the country. For Crepaldi, the producer's knowledge is the gateway to the market in the search for safer information. In this way, the company offers resources that work as assisted management and help decision-making in real time. “Today, Brazilian producers have more technology than anyone else in the world and are qualified to manage it. An example is that we entered the United States offering products that can be compared to those implemented here in 2007”.
