For the 11th time, CASE Construction Equipment is one of the exhibitors at Agrishow, sharing a stand with the agricultural machinery brand Case IH – both from CNH Industrial. This year, the brand will offer four models, all widely used in sugarcane plantations and mills: 721E sugarcane loader version, 865B motor grader, CX220C Series 2 hydraulic excavator and 580N backhoe loader.

“Agribusiness continues to have an important share in the sales of construction machinery, with specific applications in the sugarcane sector that result in significant productivity gains”, says CASE Marketing Manager for Latin America, Maurício Moraes.

The applications of construction machines in agribusiness go beyond infrastructure services. They are important for increasing productivity in the field and maintaining farms and plants. They operate on the roads that lead to farms, in the loading processes, in soil preparation and also in the production area, such as sugar cane cultivation.

Sugarcane version loader – CASE was the first brand to develop a sugarcane version loader, to operate with sugarcane bagasse with greater safety, fewer stops and increased productivity.

The 721E loader is equipped with a 195 hp CASE / FPT engine, with MAR I / Tier III certification, which provides greater performance and fuel economy. It has three power curves and four working modes, which allow the most appropriate power to be used for the type of application.

One of the model's differences in relation to the competition is the reversible propeller and cooling system called Cooling Box, cyclonic pre-filter at the engine inlet and air conditioning for better system efficiency and to avoid clogging, bucket sized for the movement of sugarcane bagasse and chassis with openings to avoid accumulation of material.

It also has an electrically operated rear hood, which provides full access to the engine and daily maintenance services.

Sales leader - The 580N backhoe loader, sales leader, is used in all segments, including agribusiness. Along with motor graders, loaders and excavators, it works on draining areas, constructing contour lines and opening trenches and trenches. Furthermore, both backhoes, skid steers and wheel loaders are widely used in farm maintenance and handling of inputs, harvesting and sugarcane bagasse.

The 580N backhoe loader has a CASE / FPT MAR-I / Tier 3 engine with 79 hp of net power, an operating weight of 7.553 kg, a standard bucket with a lifting capacity of 3.086 kgf and a volume of 1 m³.

Infrastructure – The 865B motor grader is used to improve infrastructure in rural areas, helping to maintain the local roads in cities where farmers' production flows in good condition. It is also widely used on farms and plants to open access to sugarcane growing areas, soil preparation and contour lines.

The model is equipped with a Common Rail electronic CASE/FPT engine, high-performance turbocharged, low consumption, low pollutant emissions, easy maintenance and Tier 3 certification. The tilting hood, with rounded shapes, allows for greater rear visibility, easy access to the engine and maintenance components. Lubrication and supply points at ground level speed up the process and reduce machine downtime.

The cabins of the 800B series motor graders are ROPS/FOPS certified and have a new design with a larger glass area, which allows more visibility in all directions, more space and with controls positioned in accordance with ergonomic principles, offering easy access, convenience and comfort to the operator. . The lower front window provides greater visibility of the blade, allowing greater control and a better finish on the worked surface.

The model has a Power Shift transmission with torque converter and locking system. lock up. The torque converter provides increased torque for heavy work, and the lock up It is ideal for softer jobs such as spreading material. With lock up deactivated, it works with the torque converter. And when activated, it works like Direct Drive, with electronic gearshift controls, six forward and three reverse speeds. The torque converter is a type of hydraulic coupling that provides an increase of up to 70% in torque and makes it the ideal instrument for jobs where greater traction force is required.

Hydraulic excavator– Hydraulic excavators in the 20 ton range hold half of the Brazilian market in the segment due to their versatility. The CX220C Series 2, weighing 22.145 kg and with a 147,8 hp CASE/FPT engine, offers excellent performance and productivity, operating in both light services and medium-sized mining and excavations. Making an analogy to a card game, the CX220C Series 2 is an asset in segments where an excavator is used, as it replaces any of the others, subject to the appropriate proportions.

The model has booms, arms and bucket options heavy duty, for heavy services, which ensure greater durability of these implements. The hydraulic system provides better distribution of pump flow in combined movements.

The Tier III certified engine has a slightly reduced speed and the injection system is less sensitive to fuel with a high sulfur content, thus enabling longer component life. The system Programmable Auto Stop, which turns off the engine if no actuator is used for 3 minutes, also contributed to reducing fuel consumption.
