Demand for more sustainable practices favors a system that currently occupies 10% of the cereal area in RS
Increase efficiency and adapt your planting window to increase the business's profit margin. This was the objective of Laércio Valentin Giampani, a soybean producer in the city of Alterosa, MG, when he decided to invest in a high-performance planter. “Planting is an important stage and we need to plan both harvests well to reduce the planting window and maximize land use. With the high-yield planter and quality seeds, we were able to maximize this and guarantee high productivity”, explains the producer.
The model chosen was Jacto's Meridia 200, which guarantees robustness and precision in planting, supports 225 kg of fertilizer per row and 75 kg of seeds per row, totaling 300 kg of inputs/row. The machine was purchased through Coopercitrus de Alfenas, MG.
After the first harvest, the producer tested and approved the equipment. “As a user, I am satisfied because the plantability is perfect, it guarantees a better planting yield. I bought this equipment at the beginning of 2021 and we have already planted 350 hectares of soybeans, reducing planting time by 20%”, he celebrates.
The planter has three articulated bodies and 25-degree angles, which ensure good performance on undulating terrain. The equipment comes with Precision Planting technology, with a seed doser, which results in planting in the correct quantity and spacing, as well as a system that controls the strength of the seed line in the soil, which allows for better uniformity in the depth of the seeds in the soil. soil, regardless of relief and vibrations.
A set of solutions was designed to reduce machine downtime for fueling and maintenance, improving planting performance. With high technology on board, the Jacto planting monitor informs, in real time, the conditions of the planting lines and equipment in general, so that the operator can avoid and quickly correct errors in the operation.
At Coopercitrus, rural producers can find the entire line of machinery, agricultural implements and specialized technical support, from negotiation to field maintenance. It has specialized workshops, a stock of spare parts and professionals trained by manufacturers to provide excellent service quickly. "I am really happy. I was very well attended to from the negotiation stage, which was quick, to the arrival of the equipment and planting. The technical support together with Jacto was perfect. Coopercitrus has a structure of people with great competence and different skills, who really provide all the necessary support. The cooperative allows us to evolve in our activities and in the time necessary”, says Giampani.
Coopercitrus -- Cooperativa de Produtores Rurais, based in Bebedouro (SP), is the largest cooperative in São Paulo and one of the largest in Brazil in the supply of inputs, machines, implements and technical support.
