Advancing of the soybean harvest in Brazil, the improvement of the climate in Argentina and the lack of quota to ship grain in national ports put pressure on internal values and also the oilseed export premiums last week, as per indicate Cepea researchers. At the field, in Mato Grosso, the low volume of rain at the beginning of soybean sowing and, later, excessive rainfall during the harvest increased the amount of damaged grains and those with excess moisture, which may result in discounts on amounts paid.

In Paraná, producers consulted by Cepea indicate that a small volume of the first harvested grain was damaged, but this should not impact the total production of the state. In Rio Grande do Sul, the water deficit and the increase in cases of pests and fungi in soybean crops worry farmers. The state of Rio Grande do Sul is which had the most outbreaks of Asian rust this season.
