Wheat planting resumes in RS after days of heavy rain
The estimated wheat cultivation for the 2022 harvest is 1.413.763 hectares, representing an increase of 15,04% compared to the previous harvest
Between the 21st and 22nd of June, the SolloAgro Summit 20222 will take place, in Piracicaba, in the interior of São Paulo, which will bring together more than 40 experts, including professors and researchers from universities and research institutes, and representatives of the productive sector, to address the topics most relevant to Brazilian agribusiness.
The event is organized by the Sollo Agro program, at the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (Esalq/USP) and is coordinated by professor Luis Reynaldo Ferraciú Alleoni, from the Soil Science department.
With the aim of discussing, improving and transforming information into field practice, the SolloAgro Summit 2022 will feature a day of lectures and round tables, which will deal with subjects such as agriculture 4.0, biological products, cover crop production system, balance of carbon in the soil-plant-atmosphere system, fertilizer and pesticide market.
The opening of the conference, on June 21st, will be given by Senior Professor Godofredo César Vitti, who will address the topic "How fertilizer management can increase food production and quality". Also on that day, in the afternoon, there will be a lecture “Microbiological analysis: a new paradigm in soil and plant management”, by professor Fernando Dini Andreote.
On June 22, the closing presentation will be given by agronomist and economics engineer Alexandre Lahoz Mendonça de Barros, from MB Agro, who will speak about “Agribusiness macroeconomic balance”.
