Producers and professionals in the agricultural sector can sign up for the free Soil Management course that has just been launched by Aegro. Classes are completely online and, to guarantee a place, simply register via the available website here.

The course covers everything from the fundamentals and effects of soil management systems to crop rotation and aspects of crop-livestock integration. The objective is for participants to review their knowledge and access new information that will contribute to better soil quality on their farm, which directly impacts their productivity.

Classes are dynamic, with accessible language and can be attended at the student's own pace. At the end of the program, which lasts around an hour, a certificate attesting knowledge is also issued free of charge.

“The course is an opportunity for producers to deepen their knowledge of the fundamentals of soil management with a view to preventing degradation and ensuring an improvement in the physical, chemical and biological aspects of the soil on their farm. They will also have the opportunity to understand the benefits of adequate management to make it easier to control diseases, pests and weeds”, explains the agronomist and one of those responsible for the Aegro courses area, Rafael Barok.

The final modules of the program cover the planning of rotational crops, how to choose the best species and overcome the main difficulties in implementing this green manure. There is also a specific part on the impacts of crop-livestock integration on soil characteristics and fertilization systems.
