SNA signs cooperation agreement with China

The agreement was signed on June 17 between the vice president of the SNA, Hélio Sirimarco, and Shanjun Li, head of the people's government of Nanjiang county, in the Chinese province of Sichuan.

The National Society of Agriculture (SNA) signed an intentional cooperation agreement with the city government of Bazhong, China. The agreement was signed on June 17 between the vice president of the SNA, Hélio Sirimarco, and Shanjun Li, head of the people's government of Nanjiang county, in the Chinese province of Sichuan.

The agreement provides for the development of exchange models in the productive, policy and agricultural ecology sectors; the import of new plant species; cooperation in the areas of agricultural cultivation, machinery, intelligent production, organic cultivation, logistics, among others; academic exchanges between agroforestry institutes in Brazil and China and technology transfer respecting national standards.

Also present at the occasion were other Bazhong representatives and the director of the National Agricultural Society, Sylvia Wachsner.
