Despite the increase in average temperatures this week, the period of the month (second fortnight) did not favor the sale of oranges. This scenario is putting pressure on pear prices in the fresh market. This week (October 17th to 21st), pear oranges had an average of R$39,75/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, down 4,04% compared to last week.

The Tahiti lime, in turn, increased in value, given the low supply of the variety. Even though the rains benefit the development of the fruit, there has still been no reaction in the volume harvested. Tahiti had an average of R$ 81,59/box of 27 kg, harvested, an increase of 7,27% compared to last week.
