Sicoob Credigerais announced the allocation of R$100 million for the first quarter of the 2024/2025 Harvest Plan. The resources will be directed to solutions that aim to meet the demands of farmers in the regions where the cooperative operates.
For this year, the Federal Government announced that the Safra Plan should generate around R$400 billion, with an expectation of R$53 billion in the Sicoob System.
The 2024/2025 Harvest Plan is an initiative of the Federal Government, which aims to support the agricultural sector through incentives and agricultural guidelines aimed at rural producers, ranging from family farmers to large producers.
Credigerais contributes to the program by offering specific lines of credit with competitive rates, as well as BNDES resources for investments in rural properties. The cooperative also offers technical assistance and support to producers, agreements with advisory companies, in addition to promoting educational and commercial events for rural producers, such as agricultural fairs and lectures. Currently, Sicoob Credigerais serves two thousand members in the agribusiness sector.

“At Credigerais, resources will be allocated quarterly. During the first three months, R$100 million will be allocated to all credit lines. Each period, the fund will be managed according to the demands received from our units”, explains the manager.

The services can be requested by the producer through partner designers and relationship managers or in person at the 26 Sicoob Credigerais service units, located in the North and Northwest of Minas Gerais, Goiás, Southwest and West of Bahia and in the capital of Bahia.
The Sicoob System recently released the balance of last year's harvest. During the period, R$48,4 billion were made available in more than 175 thousand financing operations throughout Brazil.
