Camille Batiste (pictured), senior vice president of global supply chain and purchasing at Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) and member of the company's executive board, may leave her role next month. The information was released by the Reuters Agency. ADM has not yet commented on the report.

According to the news agency, Batiste recently informed ADM of his decision to leave the company after seven years of service. The internal message, however, did not specify the reasons for Batiste's departure.

Batiste's departure comes at a delicate time for ADM. The company was forced to correct six years of financial statements due to improperly recorded transactions between its U.S. business segments. Furthermore, the company faces, in the same country, government investigations related to its accounting practices.

The impact of Camille Batiste's departure and the consequences of the ongoing financial corrections and investigations at ADM are still uncertain.

Archer-Daniels-Midland, known by the acronym ADM, is one of the largest food processors and suppliers of food ingredients in the world. With operations in more than 170 countries, the company is a pillar in the global agricultural supply chain.
