Injunction was granted by Minister Luiz Fux and will be in effect until the STF Plenary judges the issue
Starting this Friday (07/12), the National Rural Learning Service (Senar) will promote a marathon in which technology professionals will propose innovative solutions to the challenges proposed by fruit growers in Bahia.
Inova.Farm is carried out in partnership with the National Agency for the Promotion of Brazilian Software Excellence (Softex) and support from the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai).
The marathon will last 52 uninterrupted hours, starting at 19pm this Friday, at the Senar Center of Excellence in Fruit Growing, in Juazeiro, Bahia. At the end of the challenge, participants will have to identify solutions to the real problem identified by producers in the region: the lack of plant monitoring in an orchard.
During the challenge, approximately 100 rural producers will visit the Center of Excellence to monitor the work. Members of the winning group will be rewarded with a 3D printer.
According to Senar's Innovation coordinator, Paulo Sérgio Araújo, the action will make it possible to bring rural producers closer to technological initiatives aimed at agribusiness.
“This action will be possible through the connections of the local community that are part of the ecosystem where they are involved, in addition to rural producers, universities, suppliers, unions, startups, business accelerators and the CNA System itself”, he highlighted.
To resolve the problem, some criteria will be taken into account: creation of an integrating unit of information about plants in an orchard; weather information and plant information; understanding the incidence of pests and checking plant well-being; identification of soil classes, taking into account the characteristics of the region, particularly Juazeiro and Petrolina and online transmission and all information must be concentrated on a platform with excellent usability.
