Three personnel changes at Seedcorp HO were announced today (9/1/23): Gustavo Hidalgo, Vicente Galera and Juliano Trevisan are the new additions.
Gustavo Hidalgo, 42, is the new director of Marketing and Licensing at Seedcorp HO. Agricultural engineer from Unesp, with 18 years in the agribusiness market and working in companies such as Bayer, Monsanto and Advanta Seeds, arrives to replace Fábio Ruggiero, who, after nine years of founding the company, left this week to pursue new projects .
Hidalgo developed his career working in the seeds, biotechnology and agrochemicals market, initially in research and product development positions and later, leading teams and projects in the areas of market development, sales and marketing.
In its turn, Vicente Galera, 48, who held the Commercial Directorate at Seedcorp HO, takes on the position of Director of Operations (COO), replacing Daniel Glat, who, after six years, also left the company to pursue new initiatives. An agricultural engineer from the State University of Londrina (UEL), Galera has been at Seedcorp HO for six years, where he started as director of Sales and Licensing Operations and became Commercial Director. Previously, he developed his career at Monsanto, having the opportunity to lead several business units and teams.
Third change, with the promotion of Galera, Juliano Trevisan, 46, who held the position of Central Regional commercial manager in the states of GO and MS, takes over the commercial directorship of Seedcorp HO. An agricultural engineer from Universidade Norte Paraná (Bandeirantes - PR), he has been with the company for three years, where he worked with the management and strategic development of the Seedcorp and ELLAS Genética brands, working with soybean and corn seeds. Before Seedcorp HO, Trevisan developed his career at Sementes Iberá and Cereal Ouro, as a commercial Sales manager. Previously, he worked at Monsanto do Brasil, where he worked in various sectors linked to research, manufacturing, development and commercialization of corn and sorghum seeds.
“With nine years of experience, Seedcorp HO, one of the soybean germplasm market leaders in the country, offers many opportunities to its professionals. With this continuous growth, and being a relatively young company, new hires are needed every year to allow this evolution, creating opportunities for the professional development of our own employees, and requiring the hiring of people from the market to participate in our talent pool. ”, informs Danilo Macarini, director of Processes and Human Resources at Seedcorp HO.
CADE's authorization for the purchase of part of the shares of HO Semillas Holding S.A., controlling company of Seedcorp HO, was recently announced by Revista Cultivar.
