Scarifier is Piccin's highlight at the Agro Coopernorte 2019 Show

The 25-rod EPCR scarifier with seed distribution box is the highlight of Piccin Tecnologia Agrícola for the Show Agro Coopernorte, State Agribusiness Fair in Paragominas, from May 22nd to 25th. This equipment is important for direct planting and for soils like those found in Pará. Precision Agriculture Technician, Paulo Padilha, explains that the implement decompresses and scarifies with a maximum depth of action of 260mm.

This is equipment suitable for direct planting, mainly because it keeps straw from previous crops on the soil surface. “In addition, it can be divided into two scarifiers smaller than 13 rods, as it was developed with a double hydraulic structure and components that allow this division”, says Padilha. Furthermore, to make the producer's work easier, it has an automatic, direct-action disarming system that allows easy reset without the need to return the implement.

Other features of the Piccin EPCR Scarifier

Another important feature of Piccin's EPCR is the spring system on the declogging rollers, which make it possible to monitor irregularities and level the soil. This combination is to increase production and reduce the farmer's costs.

The company also prepared the implement with the possibility of adapting the seed and fertilizer distribution box, thus generating multifunctionality, as it allows both scarification and the distribution of seeds and/or fertilizers to be carried out in the same operation, across a total area. “What sets this product apart is the box that distributes the chemicals and small seeds, which allows homogeneity in low doses”, concludes the Piccin professional.
