A reference in plant nutrition for various agribusiness crops, Satis has just defined its target for the 21/22 crop year. The company from Minas Gerais projects growth of approximately 26% for the period, betting especially on the advancement of soybeans in Brazil, in addition to the cotton segment in the areas of Mato Grosso and West Bahia. The company closed the last 20/21 season with a 39,9% increase in revenue, beating the initial target of 27% a month in advance. Between the months of January and June alone, growth was 56%.

According to data from Abisolo, the plant nutrition market grew by more than 40% in total. The positive scenario contributed to Satis increasing sales volume in specific product lines, such as foliar fertilizers and organominerals. To maintain the strong pace of growth and better meet market demand, the company is entering a marketplace platform to expand the offering of its portfolio, which will be reinforced with the arrival of a new copper-based product. The two new features will be officially announced in the coming weeks.

During the pandemic, the company optimized its customer service via digital platforms, taking advantage of the reduction in travel to constantly train its professionals. According to its president, José do Nascimento Ribeiro, the initiative was essential to maintain the engagement of teams remotely and, thus, guarantee good results. In parallel, the company also invested in the launch of Sollar and Liq-D solutions, in the renewal of 80% of its fleet of service vehicles, in the installation of solar energy panels at its headquarters located in Araxá/MG, among other actions. Now, Satis will reinforce its field teams in order to take advantage of the resumption of visits to producers, maintaining all safety measures against Covid-19.

Innovation has also been one of the main focuses to sustain the company's growth path. Therefore, part of its attention is focused on carrying out research, whether to develop new technologies in solutions or to better understand specific demands in the field. Last season alone, 33 scientific studies related to plant nutrition and phytosanitary management were carried out, 10 of them in partnership with important entities in the sector, such as Embrapa and the University of Uberaba. Another front of innovation is the Work & Play Challenge, which this year reached its third edition, generating opportunities for agribusiness academics to present their projects and, thus, stimulating new talents in the sector.

The good results of soybeans in the country and the appreciation of commodities on the international market contribute to the company's good momentum. José do Nascimento Ribeiro highlights that Satis has been increasing its participation in strategic agribusiness segments, such as coffee and cotton. “We also strengthened our presence in important producing regions, such as Mato Grosso, Goiás, Maranhão, Pará, Bahia and Minas Gerais. In this new season, one of the areas of special attention for our company will be the so-called Green Belt in the interior of São Paulo, a reference in fruit and vegetables”.
