Satis, a company from Minas Gerais specializing in plant nutrition products, has just received the recommendation for certification under the ISO 9001 standard – 2015 version for quality management systems. The recommendation is the result of an audit carried out by Fundação Vanzolini, the only Brazilian entity integrated into The International Certification Network (IQNet) – a network made up of the 38 most important certification bodies present in more than 150 countries – which grants international validity to their certifications.
Satis' Quality Coordinator, chemical engineer Fabrício Porto, predicts that the certification should be granted this November and, with this, the company will be one of the only companies in the country in the plant nutrition sector to achieve the ISO 9001 – 2015 version For customers, certification is a guarantee that the entire manufacturing process is monitored, which provides a quality standard to the final product. Porto highlights that as the certification is international, it also opens up opportunities to win customers on the global market, expanding Satis' coverage base.
Furthermore, achieving certification, which focuses on customer satisfaction, demonstrates the company's effort to improve the efficiency of internal processes, ensuring better opportunities and greater competitiveness. ISO 9001 also favors the integration of processes, the implementation of a culture of continuous improvement and the involvement of employees, qualifying the company's level of response.
