Apply more, spray less. This is the main message of Aplik+, an application technology program developed by Satis, a company from Minas Gerais specializing in plant nutrition. The initiative aims to guide producers to obtain greater efficiency from the solutions used in crop management. To share qualified information and strengthen customer relationships, the novelty was officially presented as a highlight of the 4th Satis Convention, held in July, in Belo Horizonte.
Both for plant nutrition and plant health control, crop spraying involves the challenge of aligning quality products with appropriate application techniques according to the crop's needs. In practice, the Aplik+ program will provide a type of consultancy to the producer directly in the field, providing scientific knowledge to ensure that the solutions used reach the desired target, with less waste and higher quality. A Dissemination Team is being trained by Satis to provide guidance directly in the field, helping customers in the various agricultural regions of the country in which the company is present.
The launch of the program included a lecture by specialist Filipe Moura, from Moura Consultoria, who drew attention to different technical details in the spraying process, such as product compatibility in the preparation of the syrup, machine speed, pressure, droplet formation, among other points. . According to the consultant, studies carried out with soybean cultivation in Brazil, for example, show that some crops fail to produce 15% of their potential due to the lack of specific care in the application process.
Along with the launch of the program, Satis also presented the products Vitaphix, Vitaphix N and Vitaphix Power, formulations developed to provide greater efficiency from the preparation of the syrup to the absorption of nutrients by the plant. With these new developments, in particular the launch of the Aplik+ Program, Satis seeks to reinforce its presence among the current group of client producers, where it identifies a series of demands that have not yet been met and that can be transformed into new business opportunities throughout Brazil. . “The idea is to better understand the producer’s needs in the field in order to offer technical consultancy in which we present the diversity of solutions that we already have on the market”, comments the Executive Director of Satis, Endrigo Bezerra.
By strengthening its relationship with producers, the company also plans to increase its customer base by 30% over the next three years, reinforcing its participation in markets such as coffee and fruit and vegetables. Structure to meet the growth perspective already exists. The industry located in Araxá, Minas Gerais can produce up to 4 million liters per shift – currently demand represents 30% of this capacity. Despite the country's economic instability, the company has increased its revenue by an average of 30% to 40% in the last three years. According to the company's president, José Nascimento Ribeiro, with the news presented at the Belo Horizonte convention, the company intends to increase its growth rate. The company hopes to increase its revenue to the R$100 million mark within three years – an estimated increase of over 300%.
