The two companies and brands will remain operating independently, each one valuing the management of their product portfolios, employees, customers and suppliers. Therefore, welcoming the company Isla into the Sakata Group is an important step towards achieving this goal”, stated Hiroshi Sakata, President of Sakata Seed Corporation.

For the CEO of Sakata Seed Sudamerica, Marcello Takagui, “this new format of the Sakata Group in South America should bring a huge improvement in the availability of our genetics for small producers through Isla Sementes' expertise with this audience, as well as making our vast genetics, leader in many market segments, for the public who have the habit of growing Isla’s already renowned portfolio at home”, he pondered.
