The Coopavel Rural Show will be one of the first in-person technical agribusiness events in the world to present Metaverso technology to its visitors. The novelty will be shown at the Rural Digital Show, which in a space of 8,7 thousand square meters will bring together some of the most innovative digital companies that change the way people live and how companies and farmers do business today.
“We are building a cabin that will allow visitors to have the experience of being on board a sprayer in full operation in the field”, says the coordinator of the Rural Digital Show, José Rodrigues da Costa Neto. “I am sure that everyone who participates will have an incredible experience, with the best of technology that will have profound impacts on society”, according to Neto. Interested parties must register and wait their turn to access the structure, all in compliance with health rules.
The Metaverse has been around for some time, but has been heavily popularized for about two years now. Like others, this technology will be used in the most different sectors of agribusiness, further improving the performance of this production chain. Neto explains that the concept combines the best of virtual reality and augmented reality, allowing people, with the use of special glasses, even virtually, to feel inserted in a certain environment and all the sensations present there.
The use of special devices allows you to enter 3D virtual environments. “When you enter, you will be in a kind of parallel reality that simulates the physical world. In this space it is possible to interact with other users using avatars – a graphic representation of the person”, explains Neto.
The Rural Digital Show will have numerous other attractions, such as a 5G experience and hackathon, Cooperative IT Forum, Boot Camp, drone and rover demonstrations, as well as lectures and investor meetings with startups. The Coopavel Rural Show will be in Cascavel, in the west of Paraná, from February 7th to 11th. All health standards will be observed on site. Access to the park and parking is free.
