Jacto, a Brazilian multinational of agricultural machinery, solutions and services, launched the Uniport 2024 NPK fertilizer machine and the Lumina 8030 planter at the Coopavel 300 Rural Show. The company also showcases a large part of its solutions for spraying, precision agriculture and digital services.

The new Uniport 8030 NPK draws attention for its new design with a front engine, a tank with a capacity of 8.000 kg and a wider cabin. The new chassis provides better weight distribution and greater suspension travel. In terms of technology, the fertilizer machine offers solutions that enable precise dosing, ease of adjustment and larger, more uniform application ranges.

Among the onboard technologies are double variable rate control for greater efficiency in the use of inputs; automatic control of 12 sections for less overlap and up to 15% savings on fertilizers; and border control that minimizes fertilizer application to unwanted areas such as carriers.

Another highlight is the launch of the Lumina 300 planter with 16 or 18 rows. The machine has a central reservoir with a capacity of 5.100 liters and a fully integrated planting furrow spraying system with a capacity of 900 liters, which eliminates adaptations and risks of equipment breakdowns compared to after-market solutions. The Lumina 300 can also be equipped with offset double disc furrowers or fertilizer rods.

Tractorized and self-transportable, this planter is ready for transport with a width of 3,2 meters without any setup, which is considered one of its great differences. “We are happy to announce these two major launches that arrive to meet the demand of rural producers for solutions that make work in the field more practical, faster and sustainable”, comments Fernando Gonçalves, president of Jacto.

In fertilization, Jacto also has two other models of broadcast fertilizer machines: Uniport 5030 NPK and Tellus 10.000 NPK. The machines are equipped with 12-section Automatic Control, Edge Control and Dual Variable Rate Control. In terms of planting, the Meridia 200, Jacto's first planter launched on the market, has 11, 13 and 15 rows, and from 2024 onwards will have the same precision agriculture technologies present in the Lumina 300, which can provide savings of up to 15% on seeds and fertilizers and several other benefits. The equipment has, among other advantages, an exclusive constant pressure system in the planting line for more uniform seed depth.

Spraying Solutions

Visitors to the Coopavel Rural Show can check out the self-propelled sprayers from the Uniport family, models 2030, 2530, 3030, 4530 and Uniport 2000 Plus. A new feature from Jacto this year is the PWM system option on the Uniport 3030 and Uniport 4530. This technology maintains the size of the droplets even with variations in machine speed. When integrated into the nozzle-to-nozzle system, PWM automatically controls pressure, allowing better management of the spraying operation.

The models also gained a new version of the transmission system, which, depending on the application conditions, provides fuel savings of up to 20%. Tractorized sprayers from the Arbus, Condor and Advance lines will also be on display, with emphasis on the Multicontrol spraying system that now equips all models of the Advance and Condor 800 AM lines, bringing technologies similar to those already existing in self-propelled sprayers and which provide more comfort, safety and practicality of operations, as it integrates all resources into a single display inside the tractor cabin.

Autonomous sprayer with artificial intelligence

Among the most innovative equipment, the Company demonstrates the Arbus 4000 JAV autonomous sprayer, which features an unprecedented spraying technology with Jacto's brand and DNA. Using a laser scanning system to evaluate the plant's leaf mass, the sprayer can identify the size and proportion of the plant, as well as where there is green mass.

This information serves as input for controlling the spraying system, which, through an individual set of valves integrated into the multi-fan system, works independently through electric motors, allowing spraying of different quality with intelligent cutting of sections, delivering the required quantity exact product and ideal air volume in each part of the plant, thus avoiding product and energy waste.

The Arbus 4000 JAV has autonomous control of operations, with remote monitoring and interactive control of the vehicle through a console that can be held in the fleet manager's hand. The technology allows you to work with more than one vehicle at the same time, with the convoy function and virtual alignment of the machines. The vehicle also features intelligent obstacle control management, which automatically stops when it identifies an obstacle, and the vehicle manager can decide what actions to take.

It can also monitor pests and diseases in real time and measure productivity. Furthermore, it is possible to use cameras in the vehicle, so when it is spraying the orange crop, for example, it is possible to count the fruits, making an estimate of productivity.

Spray Nozzles

This year at the Jacto stand, farmers can discover the wide portfolio of spray nozzles offered by the company. The nozzles will be on display so that visitors can see in detail, through simulation, the precision of these parts in the spraying process. The nozzle is responsible for a large part of the results obtained in the production cycle, which is why the

importance of using the correct nozzle associated with a sprayer with all items calibrated and checked so that the product reaches the target and provides greater productivity. This control contributes to a healthier culture and reflects on the producer's profitability.

Precision agriculture

OTMIS, Jacto's brand of precision agriculture products, exhibits its family of 5", 8" and 10" displays that bring features such as the Machine to Machine system that allows more than one sprayer to work in the same field, sharing application maps, so that one piece of equipment can identify where the other has already applied, avoiding unwanted overlaps; and Remote Access and Diagnosis that allows the farmer to access the Customer Experience Tower (Jacto service) and make all necessary queries to make better use of the onboard tools.

Other highlights of the displays are the automatic end-of-line maneuver system that saves the operator time and effort; and the autopilot system with the rear steering system coupled for full use of the autopilot.

Digital Services – Jacto Next

Jacto Next, Jacto's digital services area, brought updates to the EKOS platform, multi-brand management of agricultural operations, to Show Rural. One of the highlights of this technology that will be on display at the fair are the Smart Electronic Traps for remote pest monitoring, available through the platform's Intelligent Integrated Pest Monitoring (MIIP) module.

Highlights of Jacto portable equipment

In the line of battery-powered sprayers, the Jacto DJB-20S stands out for its innovation and technology with the issuance of an operation report (field logbook), 02 operating modes: (sprays and applies doses); adjusts doses from 5 to 500 ml, among other features that make this equipment unique in the world.

The Jacto GB-18, a battery-powered backpack granule distributor, has 03 application modes: localized, linear or broadcast. It brings more assertiveness and efficiency in the application of fertilizers, with input savings of up to 20%. During the event, the producer will also find Jacto's entire professional line of pruning equipment, including the Jacto TM-50, a tying device for handling branches and, with special conditions exclusive to the Rural Show, the Jacto battery-powered pruner PR-40. With 7 internal sensors, it allows controlled and precise cuts. It is light and ergonomic, three times faster compared to manual pruning shears.

Jacto Consortium

The Jacto Consórcio will be present at the fair with immediate contemplation groups and a free first installment for the entire line of tractorized sprayers. As for the lines of self-propelled sprayers, planters and fertilizer machines, the consortium offers groups with prizes by draw, free throw, and bid with 40% and 20%.
