Ninfa puts corn leafhopper management at risk
Incorrect use of pesticides and difficulty in monitoring contribute to explosions in the pest population
The 35th edition of the Coopavel Rural Show received, in five days, 384.022 visitors. The sales volume of exhibitors reached R$5 billion. These were the main numbers announced by president Dilvo Grolli and the event's general coordinator, Rogério Rizzardi, during a press conference this Friday afternoon (10/2), the last day of the 35th anniversary edition -- Friday received 56.788 people.
The initial expectation was to welcome 300 thousand people and generate R$3,5 billion. “The results achieved show the strength of agribusiness and the confidence of rural producers in a fundamental production chain for Brazil and the world”, according to Dilvo, who thanked the exhibitors, visitors, cooperative members, cooperative employees, entities , to the state and municipal governments and to everyone who, in one way or another, contributed to the success of this edition.
Rizzardi thanked God and said that Coopavel is grateful to everyone who works together to make the Rural Show a work model and source of news for agriculture. There were 600 exhibitors in 2023 and this number will be maintained in the next one, according to Dilvo, because the challenge is to guarantee the quality of the organization and the content passed on to rural producers. The president also mentioned the employees of all the companies dedicated to welcoming visitors, who came from the most different regions of the country and the world.
