RS has frost forecast in the coming days

The weekend will be marked by frost in some cities in Rio Grande do Sul. According to the Integrated Agrometeorological Bulletin No. 27/2025, from the Agriculture Department, in partnership with Emater/RS-Ascar and Irga, the phenomenon should occur in the municipalities of Bom Jesus, Capão do Tigre, São José dos Ausentes, Bom Retiro and Jaquirana. 

For the rest of the week, a high pressure system is expected to act across Rio Grande do Sul, with predominantly sunny weather until next Wednesday (July 9), when a low pressure system will begin to intensify in the state and will cause light rain in the form of drizzle in specific regions further north and northeast of RS. Accumulations should not exceed a maximum of 7 mm of rain.

Temperatures are expected to remain low, but not below zero. In the northeast of the state and in higher regions, such as São José dos Ausentes, Vacaria and Bom Jesus, minimum temperatures may reach 2°C, but the thermal sensation should be -6°C.
