To the paddy rice negotiations are at a slow pace. Prices, in turn, come registering small oscillations, operating close to stability.

Since beginning of this month, the ESALQ/SENAR-RS paddy rice indicator operated between between R$74,00 and R$76,00/50 kg bag – between September 14th and 21st, specifically, there was a decline of just 0,08%, closing at R$74,88/sc.

To the next few weeks, sector agents will assess whether prices in Rio Grande do Sul can find support again. This is because exports presented good performance in the last two months and import parity became above the internal value.
