By next Saturday (27/11), the National Supply Company (Conab) must complete the collection of information to estimate the grain and fiber harvest numbers in Mato Grosso. The research, which has been carried out remotely since the 21st of this month, is part of the 3rd Survey of the 2021/22 Grain Harvest, which will be released by the Company, nationwide, on December 09th.
The information is collected in 81 municipalities in the state, divided into 8 research routes, which have greater participation in state agribusiness, together with different sources of information. These sources range from trading companies and resellers to offices that provide technical assistance services.
The objective of the research is to collect information regarding the most relevant variables regarding the state harvest, such as planted area, average productivity prospects, crop development, predominant stage, influence of climatic conditions on crops, control and prevention of eventual pests and diseases, evolution of harvesting and planting work, as well as marketing aspects, such as marketing, among other aspects that are relevant.
At this moment, the focus of the survey is the development of soybean crops, whose sowing will end in November.
