Research gathers information for the 3rd Grain Harvest Survey in Piauí

During the study, Conab technicians investigate planting intentions for the 2021/2022 summer harvest, with information on the area to be planted, technological package used, crop stage, among others.

From November 21st, the National Supply Company (Conab) begins collecting data for the 3rd Survey of the 2021/2022 Grain Harvest across the country. Following the harvest research planning, the work in Piauí will be carried out remotely, with producers, cooperatives, associations, agribusiness consultancy companies, resellers, technical assistance and rural extension companies, among others.

During the study, Company technicians investigate planting intentions for the 2021/2022 summer harvest, with information about the area to be planted, technological package used, crop stage, financing costs and other aspects about soybean crops, corn, rice, beans, cotton and sorghum.

The municipalities monitored in data collection at this stage are Uruçuí, Ribeiro Gonçalves, Baixa Grande do Ribeiro, Bom Jesus, Santa Filomena, Corrente, Currais, Palmeira do Piauí, among others. The research continues until November 27th. 

The results of the Piauí grain harvest will be released on December 9th, during the presentation of data from the 3rd 2021/2022 Grain Harvest Survey across the country.
