Two representatives from the Swiss Embassy visited Embrapa Territorial on March 12th. Nathalie Bosch and Philippe Praz were received by deputy heads José Gilberto Jardine (Technology Transfer) and Sérgio Tôsto (Research and Development), by the international coordinator, Claudio Bragantini, and by analyst Carlos Alberto de Carvalho. The visitors aimed to get to know the center and some of the projects developed.

The deputy managers made the institutional presentation of the Company and the Unit. Carlos Alberto, in turn, presented two outstanding works developed by Embrapa Territorial: agricultural macrologistics and the role of agriculture in preserving native vegetation. The information will support the Swiss Minister of Economy, Agriculture and Infrastructure, who will visit Embrapa Territorial on April 30, accompanied by a delegation of more than 60 people, including farmers, researchers and commercial professionals. The minister is interested in reaching a trade agreement involving Mercosur countries.
