With record soybean and corn values, VBP is estimated at R$716,6 billion
The value of crops grew by 11,6% and that of livestock, by 3,4%. The increase in the value of crops is mainly due to the performance of rice, soybeans, corn, coffee and oranges
The Agricultural Defense Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) put into public consultation This Friday (10), for 60 days, the proposal for a Normative Instruction (IN) to regulate the use of remotely piloted aircraft (RPA), better known as drones, in agricultural activities.
The drones have occupied more and more space in agriculture and livestock. They are versatile and can perform different functions, varying according to the model and embedded technologies. Among the activities that can be carried out with drones, topography, imaging, crop monitoring, planting, application of agricultural pesticides, among others, stand out.
The standards must be applied to drones belonging to classes 2 (from more than 25 kg to 150 kg in total weight) and 3 (up to 25 kg in total weight), intended for the application of pesticides, adjuvants, fertilizers, inoculants, correctives and seeds .
According to the proposal, the Normative Instruction should provide for the registration of operators who use RPA in agriculture, encompassing qualified technical staff, with pilots with a remote agricultural pilot course and a technical person responsible for coordinating the activities. The aircraft and equipment requirements and the waste disposal plan must also be foreseen; the registration of educational entities to provide remote agricultural pilot courses; operational and operational safety requirements, involving operator safety and minimum distances to be respected in applications.
