Registration begins for the 2nd GVS Tec-Agricultural Technological Diffusion Event

The 2nd GVS Tec has already opened its registrations. The event will take place on March 19th from 8am with the itineraries pre-selected by participants who register on the website in advance or on the day of the event.

 

The presentation of GVS research demonstration plots will be organized in groups with itineraries divided by culture. They will cover topics relating to phytosanitary control, top dressing, as well as demonstrations of varieties and other characteristics predominant in soybean, sorghum, corn and cotton crops.

 

The Plots aim to present options to the producer of technologies that best fit their reality, with the priority being impartial information about the main products on the market.

 

The groups formed by the participants will follow an itinerary of their choice: Culture + Lucky Companies and later have free visiting hours.

 

Corn Route:

Bt/Hx transgenic corn varieties and conventional corn varieties will be demonstrated, in addition to fungicide management to control foliar pathogens, “N” management in coverage and intercropped planting of corn and brachiaria.

Sorghum itinerary:

Varieties of grain and silage sorghum will be presented, in addition to management of foliar diseases, management of “N” in coverage with and without soil inoculation with the bacteria Azospirillum ssp., management of herbicides in sorghum and intercropped planting of sorghum and brachiaria .

 

Soy Route:

For the soybean plots, in addition to demonstrating transgenic and conventional varieties, Asian rust management and environmental and physiological management will also be presented as a foundation for achieving an average productivity of 80 bags of soybeans.

 

Cotton Route:

Varieties, fungicide management in cotton will be demonstrated, in addition to the management of resistance inducers, regulators and ripeners in the crop.

 

For each itinerary, a group of Showcases from participating companies will be drawn, where mini lectures will be presented in the areas of seed treatments, fertilizers, pesticides, fertilization, cultural management, rural credit lines.

 

In the afternoon, to conclude there will be a lecture on “Foliar nutrition with macro and micro nutrients in soybean, corn and bean crops.” With Prof. PhD in Phytotechnics Arnoldo Junqueira Netto (UFLA) and two lectures on the agricultural market: one on “Commodity risk management tools” with Marcelo Bacchi Bartholomeu; Specialist in Financial Economics from Unicamp – University of Campinas and Consultant in risk management at INTL FCStone in the grains area.

 

And "Economic Scenario: Risks and Opportunities of 2011" with Paulo Chananeco PhD in Economics, with an emphasis on Monetary Policy and Director of Economics and Risks at Banco Cooperativo SICREDI.

 

GVS is headquartered in the Pamplona Valley and access is via GO-436, which connects the South and Southeast regions, being located at Km 51 on the left bank, in front of Goiás Verde Alimentos.
