REGENERA system delivers an integrated management solution, which provides rebalancing of the agricultural system

Seeking to contribute to the development of Brazilian agriculture, Gânica, a bio-input industry focused on results, quality and innovation based in Piracicaba (SP), recently presented to the market an integrated regenerative system, which offers the farmer, based on a complete diagnosis of your crop, an exclusive protocol with biological solutions focused on results, named “REGENERA System”.

“Among the actions indicated to improve the balance of systems and offer better results to agricultural production is the use of bioinputs, which have grown in the market, but which can still have its potential expanded. Therefore, we developed the REGENERA System, whose main function is to catalyze this change in management so that we can adopt a regenerative system, which allows an increase in the diversity of microorganisms in the crop”, explains Gânica's Marketing Manager, Gerson Marquesi.

Market figures indicate that sales of biological products should reach a turnover of approximately R$5 billion in Brazil by 2025, a forecast that is based on data from the biological products industry, based on solutions registered in Brazil and market evolution in the last three years. “These numbers reflect the increasing acceptance of the country's rural producers in relation to technology as a fundamental strategy in the integrated management of pests in food production”, points out Marquesi.

For Prof. Dr. Antonio Luis Fancelli (Production Systems – ESALQ/USP), promoting the balance of agricultural systems allows production to be enhanced. “The techniques currently used, such as monoculture, are part of simplistic strategies that can generate instability and imbalance in agricultural systems. This is because we work with low diversity and complexity, a situation that results in relevant problems for production, such as the emergence of weeds, which can be seen as nature's attempt to diversify the plants available in that space”, explains Fancelli.

In this context, the soil specialist, Prof. Dr. Fernando Andreote, (Soil Microbiology – ESALQ/USP) highlights the importance of investing in soil quality with solutions that help increase the complexity of the environment and are less aggressive. “We have seen an increasing increase in the use of biological products in agricultural production systems which, when used in addition to traditional agricultural techniques, begin to offer better results. These solutions present significant improvements to soil biology and, consequently, to productivity, both in quantity and quality. This is because they return the soil to a condition closer to the original, causing a lower incidence of pests and diseases and improving the rooting of plants”, points out Andreote.

Technology in favor of agricultural regeneration

Through the solutions already existing in the company's portfolio, Gânica intends, with the REGENERA System, to offer regenerative management that constitute a more stable system, according to the needs of each client.

“We have to stop thinking in a specific way and structure a more integrated and robust system to improve the productivity and profitability of agriculture”, emphasizes Gerson Marquesi.

The pillars of this system include diagnosing the system's biological diversity, through the Agri-Analysis platform; training, through training with big names in Brazilian agribusiness, at the Gânica Biotech School, and the indication of solutions from the company's portfolio.
