Use of agricultural mechanization on steeply sloped land
The simple distribution of inputs, such as limestone, can be a major challenge when applied to crops such as bananas on steeply sloped land.
The Reference Unit for Technology and Safety in the Application of Agrochemicals (UR) informs that it has canceled its Application Technology course. The program, whose first stage would take place from June 15th to 19th, will be rescheduled in due course.
According to the scientific researcher and UR coordinator, Hamilton Ramos, another course already announced by the entity, on Regulatory Standard 31.8 (NR 31.8), scheduled for the periods from September 21st to 25th and October 19th to 23rd, remains programmed. According to Ramos, UR will open registration for this event next July.
“The NR 31.8 modules will train training multiplier agents, such as agronomists and technicians who work in technical assistance or in agricultural properties and companies. We will focus on the sustainable application of pesticides and the success of pest, disease and weed control practices”, summarizes Ramos.
