Rains can alleviate the situation of soybean crops

After rising strongly in recent weeks, domestic soybean prices have fallen in recent days, pressured especially by the return of rain in producing regions in Brazil, which could improve the situation of crops. Furthermore, the devaluation of the dollar against the Real also influenced domestic losses.

Between November 6th and 13th, the ESALQ/BM&FBovespa Paranaguá Indicator (PR) fell 2,6%, to R$ 165,27/sc on Friday, November 13th. The CEPEA/ESALQ Paraná Indicator fell 2,2% in the same comparison, to R$ 165,08/sc of 60 kg on Friday.

Although the water deficit has delayed the sowing of the oilseed in Brazil, the rains in November have favored cultivation – in some regions, in fact, work is more advanced than last year.
