ProteCitrus is updated and includes a new active ingredient

ProteCitrus – Products for Citrus Production Protection, which brings together agricultural pesticides authorized for the phytosanitary defense of orchards, was updated this Friday (14). The highlights are the inclusion of a new active ingredient to control the psyllid, Flupyradifurone, and the change in the fungicide withdrawal period for controlling floral rot in citrus. Mantis 400 WG (Abamectin)

Sivanto Prime 200 SL (Flupyradifurone)

Viriato (Hexithiazoxy)

Change:

Nativo (Trifloxystrobin + Tebuconazole) – withdrawal period reduced from 20 to 7 days

Funguran Verde – Copper oxychloride (change of registrant)

Exclusions:

Products were removed from ProteCitrus because they had been discontinued by the manufacturers or had their registrations deleted on Agrofit (full list on the website).
