Production cost is updated on the Agricultural Information Portal

It is now possible in a more intuitive and practical way to consult data and generate graphs with information on agricultural production costs carried out by the National Supply Company (Conab) on the Agricultural Information Portal. The system update allows access to variable costs, fixed costs and factor income for various products linked to corporate, family and socio-biodiversity agriculture by state and municipality.

In addition to information on productivity and price received by the producer, the tool shows the different information distributed in the country and the respective areas of coverage where the data is collected, facilitating the analysis of the information. The panels also enable a specific search by type of enterprise and product, while demonstrating the variable cost divided into categories (fertilizers, seeds and seedlings, pesticides, among others).

The cost of agricultural production is a tool for controlling and managing productive activities, which generates information that assists in decision-making by rural producers and in the formulation of strategies by the public and private sector.
