Recommended product for controlling white mold in soybeans, cotton and HF is sold by Nufarm

From the next harvest (2018-19) onwards, the Australian company Nufarm will start selling the fungicide Curado, a solution for controlling foliar diseases. According to the company, it is a highly efficient product in controlling white mold, for example, among other important diseases. The agrochemical, adds Nufarm, is registered for soybeans, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, sugar cane, apples and sunflower crops.

By incorporating Curado into the portfolio, Nufarm expands its fungicide technologies available to Brazilian farmers, and continues the implementation of a commercial policy focused on expanding market access to the company's products. According to Nufarm's manager of fungicides and adjuvants, agricultural engineer Carulina Oliveira, Curado marks the company's 6th launch in Brazil this year.

Carulina adds that the Curado fungicide presents a low risk of resistance to its contact mode of action, “which is why it works as an ally for agribusiness in managing fungal resistance to online fungicides in Brazil”, she highlights.

The new Nufarm product, continues the executive, also acts effectively on foliar and soil diseases in the crops for which it is registered. “In relation to white mold, Curado reduces secondary cycles of infection by preventing the fungus from germinating in the soil”, says Carulina.

Also according to Nufarm, Curado has as its active ingredient the compound fluazinam, from the chemical group phenylpyridinylamine, at a concentration of 500 grams per liter and concentrated suspension (SC).
