Rural producer from Paraná José Eduardo Sismeiro assumes this Wednesday (01/06), on an interim basis, the presidency of the Brazilian Association of Soy Producers (Aprosoja Brasil).
Until October this year, he will replace the entity's then president, Antonio Galvan, who is taking leave from his position to dedicate himself to his pre-candidacy for the Federal Senate in the state of Mato Grosso.
Zezé Sismeiro states that he will continue the work of Galvan and the other directors of the 16 state Aprosojas to “address” the issues considered priorities for soybean producers.
“I see this process in a very peaceful way. We will continue with the work that is being done, strengthening the entity from an institutional point of view and working to mobilize for the approval of priority agendas for soybean producers”, highlighted Sismeiro.
Among the agendas are bills that depend on approval in the National Congress, such as the Defensive Bills, Environmental Licensing, Land Regularization, among others, as well as demands from producers regarding the import of fertilizers, pesticides and the use of bio-inputs in crops.
