With more than 26 years of history and a strong growth trajectory, Primato Cooperativa Agroindustrial continues to strengthen its activities year after year. Proof of this is the expansion project recently announced by the president of the Cooperative, Anderson Leo Sabadin.

There will be three new complete reception units, located in the cities of Santa Lúcia, Salto do Lontra and one in the district of Santa Maria do Oeste, belonging to Santa Tereza do Oeste, in Paraná. Primato is focused on receiving cereals, processing and adding value. Once again the Cooperative shows that the cooperative member is at the center of business.

According to Sabadin, “growth must enable positive results for the cooperative, so that we can better remunerate farmers, milk and cattle producers, pig farmers, poultry farmers and fish farmers. We need to double our grain intake to meet the current demand from our animal feed industries. Doing things with quality and productivity together with our members is our goal.”

With a diversified productive culture, the cities that will receive Primato meet the prerequisites that the Cooperative seeks to achieve the volume of grain receipt, as well as strengthening the brand. “These regions are strong in both farming and the agricultural sector and are therefore part of our expansion project. In addition to receiving grains and a team of agronomists, these units will also sell inputs, machines, implements, equipment, solar panels, generators, veterinary pharmacy, feed and minerals”, stated agricultural manager, Maurício Patel.

Patel also recalled the volume of receipts that this project intends to achieve. “The new units total a static storage volume of 36 thousand tons. It also includes unloading with a tipper, drying and storage of inputs,” said Patel.

Opening

The inauguration of the Santa Lúcia and Santa Maria do Oeste units is scheduled for the month of May, while in Salto do Lontra the construction will be handed over to Primato in February 2025. With this, the Cooperative is already starting to hire employees to form the teams that will work in the units. The cooperative's people and management manager, Carlos Hech, also announced that 50 new direct jobs are open. Interested parties should contact us via the website or WhatsApp (45) 98803-7219.
