The latest analysis of the Edenred Ticket Log (IPTL) Price Index, a survey that consolidates the price behavior of transactions at gas stations, providing a precise average, showed that at the end of September, the average price of a liter of gasoline was sold at R$ 5,93 in the South Region, the same price as the first half of September. The price of regular diesel also remained stable and closed the month at R$ 5,94, while the S-10 type increased by 0,33% and was sold at R$ 6,08, the lowest averages in the country for both types of diesel. The price of ethanol reduced 0,24%, compared to the first fortnight of the month, and was sold at R$ 4,15.
“Among the national highlights, Rio Grande do Sul registered the two types of diesel with the lowest average price in the entire country. Among the states in the region, ethanol, when compared to gasoline, was considered economically more advantageous for fueling only in Paraná. Still, the fuel is more ecologically viable, as it is capable of considerably reducing gas emissions responsible for climate change”, he points out. Douglas Pina, General Director of Mobility at Edenred Brasil.
The IPTL is a fuel price index based on supplies made at 21 accredited Edenred Ticket Log stations, which is highly reliable due to the number of vehicles managed by the brand: 1 million in total, with an average of eight transactions per second. Edenred Ticket Log, a brand from Edenred Brasil's Mobility business line, has more than 30 years of experience and adapts to customer needs, offering efficient and sustainable solutions in order to simplify daily processes.
