A FAPESP Postdoctoral Fellowship is offered by the Thematic Project “High-resolution remote sensing for digital agriculture”. The registration deadline ends on Friday (14/04).

The project is developed at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the São Paulo State University (FCT-Unesp), in Presidente Prudente.

The postdoctoral fellow will participate in the development of an approach for accurately estimating orange production using terrestrial laser scanning (VLT) data and methods of machine learning algorithm  e deep learning.

The candidate must have a doctorate in remote sensing, photogrammetry or related sciences, as well as solid training in photogrammetry, remote sensing, adjustment of observations, cartography and related areas. Strong knowledge of programming involving C, C++, Python, among other languages, is also required; good knowledge of AM/AP theory, algorithm and implementation; experience with VLT data processing; good scientific production in the related area; and availability for frequent field work.

Interested parties must send their CV, doctorate degree, research plan, links to three relevant published articles and other documents that demonstrate the candidate's experience to the emails and mauricio.galo@unesp. br.
