Bayer changes LATAM crop protection area
Rodrigo Morais assumed the position of “Head of Crop Protection Value Creation”
A postdoctoral opportunity with a FAPESP scholarship is available through the Thematic Project “Monitoring integrated crop-livestock systems through remote sensing and precision agriculture for more sustainable production - towards low-carbon agriculture”. Registration closes until Friday (02/09).
Developed by the Interdisciplinary Center for Energy Planning at the State University of Campinas (Nipe-Unicamp), the project aims to provide support to the Brazilian low-carbon agriculture program related to sustainability from the point of view of water use efficiency, productivity and soil quality, exploiting the capabilities of remote sensing data and precision agriculture analysis.
The selected researcher will parameterize, test and apply simulations of biogeochemical models in a crop-livestock environment considering coupled carbon-nitrogen cycles at local and regional scales. It must also parameterize models based on existing processes with data from field measurements on an experimental farm located in Caiuá (SP).
Registrations must be sent to the email of professor Paulo Graziano (graziano@unicamp.br), with a copy to Johinislan Prates (jprates@unicamp.br), including “Projeto FAPESP 2017/50205-9 post-doc PD8” in the subject field.
